Before we leave, you get a written summary with photos of the flue and notes on anything to keep an eye on.
Operated by the same family since 2020. Not a chain, and never has been.
You see what we find: photographs of the flue, crown, and cap after every job.
You receive a two-hour window and a phone call when we are heading your way.
We explain what needs attention now and what can safely be left for later.
Every sweep on our team holds a certification and trains with us before handling a job independently.
Drop cloths, shoe covers, and a HEPA vacuum running throughout the entire visit.
A family operation, not a franchise.
My grandfather began sweeping chimneys in Philadelphia with a truck, a set of rods, and a commitment to leave every hearth in better shape than he found it. That is still how we work.
When you call, you speak with our family, not a dispatcher, and the technician who shows up at your door is someone we trained on our own crew. Our name goes on every job.

We run a camera through the flue liner, examine the crown, cap, flashing, damper, and firebox, and hand you a written report with photographs.
Late summer or early fall is best. Our schedule fills up fast after the first cold snap, so booking by September keeps you ahead.
We spread drop cloths from the front door to the hearth, wear shoe covers, seal off the fireplace opening, and keep a HEPA vacuum going the entire time.
We do — wood and pellet stoves get a complete cleaning and safety review, from the stovepipe down to the baffle and door gasket.
A standard sweep runs about an hour. Adding a camera inspection tacks on another 30 to 45 minutes.
